Congratulations!

May was the culmination of a successful year for Natalia Torres (Ventana), a sophomore at Lennard High School.  

Natalia was awarded a full-tuition, two-year college scholarship through the Hillsborough Education Foundation! She was one of eight sophomores that received a perfect score (6 out of 6) on the FCAT Writing test.

“But wait, there’s more”, Natalia was also recognized for earning her Young Womanhood Recognition award by The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, and achieved 100% attendance at her early morning seminary class for the second year in a row.  

During the school year she continued to make the honor roll, participate in community service, completed her four-year certification at her church’s Young Women’s camp.

In her “spare time”, Natalia plays the piano, enjoys scrapbooking and just hanging out with her friends.  Congratulations, Natalia!
